Vandals smashed the ground-floor window of a house in Henthorn Road, Clitheroe, while the owners were sleeping upstairs.

Police are appealing for information into the incident, which occurred at 1 am on Sunday, February 23rd.

PCSO Rachael Jacques, of Clitheroe Police, said: “The owners were asleep upstairs when they heard the window smash and then discovered a stone in front of the window.

“This is an isolated incident and we are appealing for witnesses who may have seen two males running away from the scene to come forward. We are keen to speak to anyone however little information they have to contact us.”
