Stanley House Hotel and Spa in Mellor has been shortlisted for a national award.
The spa at Stanley House has been listed as “best for dine and spa” in the National Spa Traveller Awards 2014.
The awards, which reveal a benchmark for excellence within the spa industry, are voted for by its readers and visitors to the website. Past winners have included the Palazzo Versace on Australia’s Gold Coast and the Dorchester, in London.
The dine and spa category celebrates spas across the country which not only provide luxury spa facilities and treatments, but also offer the high quality dining options to match.
Stanley House, the only venue in the North West to be nominated in this category, has been shortlisted for the award due to its refined refreshments menu comprising quality local produce, much of it sourced within the Ribble Valley.
Sales and Marketing Manager Wendy Hope said: “The team has worked extremely hard to create a luxury spa experience which demonstrates excellence on every level. We offer award winning treatments, world-class facilities and an array of dining options.
“Not only do we provide a luxury refreshments menu, but the hotel’s Grill on the Hill restaurant and Mr Fred’s Bar and Lounge also provide the perfect opportunity for guests to linger a little longer.”
At last year’s awards, Stanley House achieved the National Spa Traveller award for best new spa.
The spa at Stanley House, which launched in 2012 and boasts panoramic views of the Ribble Valley countryside, incorporates the very latest treatment facilities and was delivered by specialist company Howard Spa Consulting, which has served hotels including London’s Dorchester, L’Oreal Luxe, Paris and Armani spas across the globe.
