Ribble and Craven Decorative and Fine Arts Society has completed a church trail for All Hallows Church, Mitton.

It provides a set of simple questions that help children to get to know their local church and its history. Parents and teachers can use the carefully prepared answer sheet to widen their children’s and their own knowledge.

All Hallows is a very attractive ancient church nestling on the banks of the River Hodder and not far from Stonyhurst College, with which it has unique historical associations through the Sherburne family. It lends itself well to a the project, as it has so many interesting historical features and a visit is recommended.

Pictured is the trail document being presented to the Rev. Gill Mack by North-West area church trails adviser Jeremy Rycroft.
