Foulridge derelict farm blaze is '˜deliberate'

Firefighters were called to a suspected arson at a derelict farm building in Foulridge last night (Friday).

Four fire engines from Nelson and Colne attended the blaze at the farm in Moss Houses Road at around 10-30 pm.

Crews used two jets to extinguish the fire and they were at the scene for almost two-and-a-half hours.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue believe the fire was started deliberately and a joint investigation with the police has begun.
