Air ambulance lands near the Castle play area

A boy was airlifted to hospital yesterday with wrist and arm injuries after an incident at Castle Park, Clitheroe.

Emergency services including the North West Air Ambulance were called at 2-55 pm on Bank Holiday Monday. It is understood the boy fell off a rope swing while playing at the park. He was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital.
