Archaeological dig planned on Pendle Hill
A dig is planned for later this month in the Ribble Valley by the archaeological group at Pendle Heritage Centre.
It will take place from Saturday May 28th to Sunday June 5th with the excavation centred on The Craggs, an old farming settlement situated on the south facing slopes of Pendle and close to Sabden. There is evidence in the area of activity from the far distant past to the present.
