A WARRANT backed with bail was issued for the arrest of Peter Hebden (45), of Woone Lane, Clitheroe, when he failed to appear before Blackburn magistrates charged with theft of £480 and £1,000 from his employer, Louise Clough of The Station Hotel, Clitheroe.

He is also charged with borrowing £200 from John Whiteside after fraudulently making a false representation that he had left his wage packet containing £500 at his ex-wife’s house in Skipton.
