For one day only pupils at Ribblesdale High School were able to ditch their uniform and don a variety of spots, stripes and onesies raising more than £1,200 for Children in Need in the process.

The school organised events including a speedy cake sale by 8D raising more than £90 in just eight minutes!

Pupils were able to challenge staff to a fancy dress basketball match where it was a close call with staff flagging at first, but victorious in the end. And thankfully, none of the staff required medical assistance!

Many of the pupils also held a sponsored fancy dress.

The day was a great success and a clear example of the generosity of the pupils and staff.
