Police study CCTV after Clitheroe pub attacks

POLICE

police are studying CCTV images of two separate weekend incidents of assault at licensed premises in Clitheroe.

On Friday night during an argument in Sobar, King Street, a 17-year-old youth was punched in the face, suffering bruising and swelling. Police are looking for an Asian youth of a similar age.

In The Dog sports bar at 12-15am on Sunday a man was punched in the face, suffering a cut lip and eyebrow, in an altercation over a spilled drink. The assailant was about 25, stocky, with short brown hair.

Police say anyone with information about either incident should contact them on the non-emergency number 101.
