POLICE are appealing for information after two large tables with granite tops from the terrace of a Clitheroe town centre cafe bar were smashed in the early hours of Sunday.

CCTV footage shows a white, clean shaven male with short dark brown straight hair and wearing a khaki light brown jacket, light coloured trousers and black and white trainers overturn the tables.

The incident happened at 3-50 a.m. at Maxwells Cafe Bar, King Street, and £800 worth of damage was caused. Anyone with information should phone the police on the non-emergency number 101.
