SAMPLES of a new product in Ribble Valley success story and “Queen of Puddings” Helen Colley’s new range of half-baked cakes can be tasted in Clitheroe’s Tesco supermarket tomorrow (Friday, November 16th).

The Gisburn farmer’s daughter founded Clitheroe-based Farmhouse Fare and later sold it for a reported £10m. while remaining its managing director. Now she is the mastermind behind the new business venture, the Half-Baked Cake Company.

Samples of a new addition to the company’s range, The Christmas Chocolate Yule Log, will be on offer on Friday. It can be found in the chilled food aisle, by the chilled home baking range at selected Tesco stores and Tesco.com priced £4.
