STAFF at Edisford Primary School, Clitheroe, are celebrating after receiving a quality award.

Edisford Early-Years’ staff were presented with the Step Into Quality Lancashire Award certificate at an awards’ ceremony held at the Woodlands Conference Centre, Chorley.

The award was to the whole of the nursery and reception staff and was based on reflection on provision and practice across eight areas.

These included providing quality indoor and outdoor experiences and planning appropriate learning and development opportunities to meet children’s individual needs.

Edisford Nursery offers 15 hours a week of free, flexible places for children from the age of three.
