YOUNGSTERS at Chipping Children’s Community Alliance (CCCA) received some exciting post from Buckingham Palace.

During the summer celebrations of HM The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee children and staff from CCCA, which is based at Brabin’s Endowed Primary School in Chipping and incorporates Early Learners’ Pre-school, Breakfast and After School Club and Chipping Baby and Toddler group. got together and made an enormous card for HM The Queen.

Every child drew a picture, signed their name and then stuck it inside the card.

This week, the CCCA received a thank you letter and a card of photographs depicting HM The Queen throughout her reign. The children were thrilled to have received the letter, which will be framed and displayed in the setting.

The letter signed by Jennifer Gordon Lennox, Lady-in-waiting, said: “To all the children and staff at CCCA, The Queen wishes me to write and thank you all for the splendid card and pictures which you sent on the occasion of Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee.

“The Queen greatly appreciated your thought for her in this historic year and hopes that you will understand that, because of the enormous number of messages received in the last few months, it has not been possible to reply to you until now.

“I am to thank you all very much once again for writing to her Majesty at this time.”
