Blackburn Rovers contract for Sasha

Westholme Infant School pupil Sasha McTiffin has been awarded a year-long contract with Blackburn Rovers.
Back in August, when Sasha was just six years old, she was awarded the contract after impressing Rovers’ development team.
Part of the under nines’ development team, Sasha, who lives in Grindleton, trains each week at the Centre of Excellence at Ewood Park and the team’s next fixture is against Manchester United on February 25th.
Sasha’s love for football began when she started playing in the playground at the infant school with some of the boys in her year. She then asked to join a club. Sasha also played in Mrs Sutcliffe’s after school football club and the infants school football team. She now plays in the boys’ team at Langho Juniors FC as well.
