Organisers of next year’s Summer Days Festival have announced that Jools Holland and Caro Emerald will play a the three-day event.

Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra will headline on Friday, July 8th, at what is being billed as the UK’s newest boutique music and food festival.

The legendary pianist, bandleader, singer, composer and presenter will top the bill with an unmissable set of boogie-woogie classics in what promises to be the party of the season.

Also announced for Friday’s line-up is the incredible Caro Emerald, whose up-tempo blend of jazz and pop propelled her to number one in the UK and Dutch album charts with “The Shocking Miss Emerald” in 2013.

Summer Days will be held in the grounds of Clitheroe Castle with two live stages featuring more than 30 artists, a locally sourced gourmet food village and a dedicated real ale area.

More announcements about the line-up at the festival are also still to come. The organisers of the festival will announce a final headline act and a full supporting bill in the coming weeks, as well as a full festival programme.

General access tickets for Friday, July 8th, cost £59-50 per day. A limited number of daily VIP tickets will be available at £149 each. The festival is also running a special Yuletide promotion from 9am tomorrow (Friday), December 18th, and to 11pm on New Year’s Day following Jools Holland’s famous NYE Hootenanny show.
