Edisford Primary School pupils are making the most of £1,000-worth of outdoor play equipment donated by housebuilder Taylor Wimpey.

Wimpey sales executive Sharon Robinson, pictured with the pupils, officially handed it over. The company is building 33 detached homes at Low Moor Gardens, Chapel Close, and wanted to play a role in the community.

Headteacher Rob Pye said: “At Edisford Primary our aim is to inspire and encourage pupils not only to learn but to become well-rounded, confident individuals. Sport, play and outdoor activities are all key to this. The children will benefit immensely from the excellent equipment donated by Taylor Wimpey.”
