Homebuilder Taylor Wimpey is supporting the Ribble Valley Jazz Festival for the second consecutive year.

The festival, over five days between April 28th and May 2nd, has received a £500 donation to fund this year’s Busker Stage.

Geoff Jackson, from the festival, said: “It’s great to have the support of Taylor Wimpey for our annual festival once again, as donations of this nature really are integral to the running of the event.

“The event grows year-on-year and, with over 50 bands and 400 musicians performing over the course of the weekend, we’re confident that 2016 will be our best year to date.”

Ribble Valley Jazz Festival is welcoming a wide range of artists from international jazz musicians to local youth bands.

This year there will be a free Saturday street party for the whole community to enjoy, in addition to a Blues stage, a Soul Stage, and a Picnic in the Park.

Taylor Wimpey is currently developing homes at Ribble Meadows, Clitheroe.

Chloe Dunn, sales and marketing director at Taylor Wimpey Manchester, said: “Ribble Valley Jazz Festival is a key calendar date for the whole community, so we’re delighted to be supporting the festival again this year.

“It’s great to see that the festival has grown so much in a year, and to see all of the community spirit that goes into organising the event.

“No doubt quite a number of our residents will be attending again.”
