The Manor House Nursing and Residential Home in Chatburn have retained Gold status at their latest Investors In People inspection.

The nursing home was the first in the country to receive Gold status in 2009, joining an elite group of only 1% of businesses in the UK to have achieved the highest I.I.P. accolade.

Manor House received the standard award 15 years ago, and after continuous improvement, qualified for Gold status six years ago.

The report praised the team, led by owners Janet and Chris Harrison, for being caring, compassionate and willing to go the extra mile and said: “The home is an excellent example of continuously providing the highest levels of care, whilst also striving for continuous improvement”.
