Soap star Malcolm Hebden was busy spreading festive cheer and bringing a smile to the faces of staff and patients at an East Lancashire Hospital on Christmas Day.
Whalley resident Malcolm, who plays Norris Cole in one of the UK’s biggest soaps “Coronation Street” took time out on Christmas Day to visit Royal Blackburn Hospital and meet all the staff and patients.
A spokesman for the hospital said: “He’s been doing this for several years to bring a bit of Christmas cheer to staff and patients who are working or unfortunately having to stay in hospital because of illness.
“Malcolm visited several wards as well as visiting staff on the Intensive Care Unit and the emergency department.
“East Lancashire NHS Trust would like to say a huge thank you to the soap actor.”
