A WONDERFUL display of toys assembled for sale by 11-year-old Daryl-Ashlee Preston, of Clitheroe, raised £110 for a very worthy cause.
A pupil at St James’ School, Daryl-Ashlee decided to get together all her unwanted toys and games, and those of her sisters and brother, to sell at a car boot sale at Clitheoe Auction Mart.
Daryl-Ashlee was up bright and early at 4-30 a.m. and along with her dad, Phillip, set off for the auction mart to get a good position.
Lots of people visited the stall and took advantage of the bargains on offer to help raise funds for the charity North West Air Ambulance.
Daryl-Ashlee would like to thank all her family, friends and neighbours for their donations and to Hoyle’s Promotions for letting her rent the stall at half price.
