Two Clitheroe friends completed the annual BUPA Great Manchester 10km Run, each supporting charities who are important to their individual families.

Adam Jackson (42), who works at the Tesco store in Clitheroe, raised £550 for the National Autistic Society to raise awareness of autism, as his son, Theo (9), is affected by the condition.

Andy Loi (41), who works at Hanson Cement, Clitheroe, raised £1,004 for the Manchester Children’s Hospital as a thank you to them for caring for his daughter ,Ellie Loi-Bristol (6).
