The sky was the limit for a mother-of-two from Billington who decided to take part in a tandem skydive to mark her 40th birthday.
Instead of presents, kind-hearted Lucy Jackson asked her family and friends to make a donation to raise as much money as possible for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. She chose this particular charity to support Billington girl Sophie Holgate who suffers from the condition.
Lucy managed to raise £150 from her skydive and Sophie, her parents Andrea, Chris and her little sister, Millie Holgate are very grateful for donation.
In addition, Christine and Norman Atty, who run the Dog Inn, Whalley and local fund-raiser Mags Twist would like to say a big “thank you” to Lucy for supporting Cystic Fibrosis, which is the pub’s chosen charity.
