OAKHILL College’s latest annual ski trip proved to be one of the best ever with day after day of sunshine and plenty of snow on the slopes.

Perfect skiing conditions on one of the most beautiful areas in the Alps – Alpe D’Huez in France.

Their hotel, the family friendly Beausoleil, opened out straight to huge piste area with some 250km of pistes to enjoy.

All skiers made excellent progress during their six days of skiing and enjoyed the fantastic conditions. Many even took on the challenge of the Sarenne – the longest black run in Europe at 18km and quite a challenge for skiers of all abilities.

Their evening activities also kept them well entertained, with indoor high ropes, bum-boarding, quizzes and bingo.

Members of staff reported that the behaviour and enthusiasm of all pupils was exemplary, making it a fantastic trip all round.
