Michael Wright, headteacher of St Augustine’s RC High School at Billington, said he was extremely pleased with this year’s results.

He added: “Once again, our students have shown the hard work and determination necessary for success and they should be rightly proud of their achievements.”

A full run-down of results will be published in next Thursday’s Clitheroe Advertiser and Times.
