Children from two Ribble Valley day nurseries partied with their parents in the great outdoors at their dedicated Forest School.

First Class Childcare Whalley and Barrow invited parents to a tea party based in Whalley Forest Garden to show them everything the children had been learning since it opened in March.

The school was designed to bring an innovative outdoor aspect to the pre-school curriculum and has been organised so that children can take part in activities such as shelter building, nature discovery and environmental art, designed to encourage development of self-confidence, exploration and discovery in a safe outdoor environment.
