A GROUP of Year 5 and 6 pupils from St Leonard’s Primary School, in Langho, was invited to open the National Conference for Diocesan Children’s Advisers, held at the nearby Mitton Fold Hotel.
The aim of the conference was to inspire diocesan advisers and, through them, school staff to consider how to maintain the integrity of the church school vision in a rapidly changing world of education.
A group of 16 pupils from St Leonard’s opened the conference with singing, prayers and a short drama. All the children performed beautifully and it was a great honour for the school to be asked to open such a prestigious event.
Fifty Advisers from all over the country attended the conference, which took place at the Langho hotel over three days.
