THE sky is the limit for a former Clitheroe Royal Grammar School pupil who will face his greatest fear for a deserving cause.

Jan Evans will skydive on Saturday to raise money for The Legacy Rainbow House in Mawdesley, near Chorley, which is attended by his daughter, Neave. The one-year-old suffers with cerebral palsy as a result of complications at birth. Jan and his wife Maxine, who live in Great Harwood, are both carers for their little girl, with Maxine giving up her full-time job and Jan starting his own company in order to be more flexible with his time to accommodate their daughter’s needs.

To say thank you to the charity that has helped and supported his family, Jan’s parachute jump will take place on Saturday in Cockerham. His fund-raising target is £4,000 and he has already raised £2,000. Anyone wishing to donate can do so by logging onto: https://www.justgiving.com/teams/neaveevans
