They took questions from students on a range of topics including the economy, the health service, the UK overseas aid budget and foreign policy. They were also asked why they wanted to represent the Ribble Valley and what their views were on housing and development in the area.

Their answers were wide-ranging and covered many issues, such as defence spending, immigration, the environment, the European Union and staffing the National Health Service.
