Pupils at Pendle Primary School, Clitheroe, are shining examples of good behaviour.

They achieved the Gold Behaviour Quality Mark awarded by Lancashire County Council, after the school was chosen as one of four pilot primary schools for the scheme.

Two county advisors visited school for a day and observed lessons and assemblies, spent time in the playgrounds and dinner hall, spoke to children and staff and looked at procedures and policies on behaviour and safety.

Teacher Mrs Veronica Tobin (back, centre) led the submission. Headteacher Mrs Alison Callon (back, left) said: “Well done to all our children, staff, governors, parents and supporters who make Pendle such a fantastic place to be.”
