Staff and pupils at Brabin’s Endowed School, Chipping, are celebrating after a glowing Ofsted report rated the school as outstanding in all areas.
The report praised teaching and pupil progress at the village primary school, and stated that “pupils enjoy all lessons and strive to achieve in all areas”.
As well as academic skills, pupils were praised for their excellent behaviour, manners and “commendable conduct”.
Brabin’s headteacher Rachel Wallace commented: “I see this achievement as a reward for everybody who is involved with Brabin’s Endowed School. It is a reflection of the whole team effort that includes teachers, support staff, governors and parents, but most importantly the pupils. As a result, the ‘outstanding’ acknowledgement is excellent for us all – we are delighted.”
The school will hold an open evening, on Thursday October 17th, at 6 pm.
