Pupils from Chatburn Primary School dressed in pink to raise money for breast cancer research and the Rosemere Cancer Foundation.

Over £130 was raised on the day and this will be donated to the foundation, which offers cancer treatment and support to patients throughout Lancashire and Cumbria.

Teaching assistant Sarah Bowness said: “One of our pupils asked if we could raise money for Rosemere as her relative was helped ny treatment it funded. The pupils were great and all threw themselves into the ‘In the Pink’ theme.”
