Hundreds of families took part in a Hallowe’en Trick or Treat trail around Clitheroe Town Centre on Monday.
Children dressed up in their best Hallowe’en gear accompanied by their parents, some of whom had also entered into the spirit of the event wearing spooky attire.
Organised by Lucy Greenhalgh, the manager of a Clitheroe town centre clothes shop La Tete et Tout on Moor Lane, the trail started from the shop and finished with a grand finale at Clitheroe Castle gates.
Youngsters picked up maps from La Tete et Tout and were asked to find the witches hats displayed in shop windows along the trail noting down what colour witch’s hat was in each shop.
And for their efforts, the youngsters were rewarded by shopkeepers with sweet treats along the way. Children were also invited to bring their own pumpkin along to be displayed at Clitheroe Castlegate.
