Publican from Clitheroe bar is charged with using threatening behaviour

A Clitheroe publican has been charged with using threatening behaviour towards police officers and obstructing their right of entry to licensed premises.

Beverley Louise Knight (48), of Lowergate, Clitheroe, is charged with using threatening behaviour towards PCs Foster, Stoddard, Taylor and Harris and obstructing the same officers from exercising a right of entry into Keystreet which they had reason to believe was being used for a licensable activity. The case was adjourned until December 10th.
