Police are reminding motorists to keep their cars locked at all times.
The warning comes after goods were stolen from two unlocked vehicles parked in the Ribble Valley.
In the first incident, thieves escaped unseen with a black briefcase from a Mitsubishi Shogun parked in West Bradford, some time during June 30th.
In the second incident, between 9-30 pm on Sunday and 8-45 am on Monday. raiders stole a sat nav device, sunglasses and CDs worth £550 altogether from a Ford Cougar, parked in Langshaw Drive, Clitheroe.
