POLICE are appealing for information after a man indecently exposed himself in a Clitheroe park.

The flasher who is described as a white male aged between 40 and 50 years old exposed himself to a female dog walker in Brungerley Park.

PC Ian Dickinson said that the description given is of a man around five feet eight inches tall, clean shaven, but with some noticeable dark stubble, short dark untidy hair.

He added that the incident happened at around 3-45 p.m. on Friday May 18th, and it is believed the man was wearing a light coloured, possibly beige baseball cap, a dark jacket and jeans.

“The female who was walking her dog challenged the man about his behaviour and he ran off, possibly across Brungerley Bridge,” said PC Dickinson.

“We would now like to hear from anyone who might have seen the man or might have any idea who he is.”

Anyone with information about the incident should contact PC Dickinson at Clitheroe Police on 01200 443344.
