Bolton pair accused of Ribble Valley school thefts



Two Bolton men have appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with school burglaries, including one in Clitheroe and one in Langho.

And the court was told police wanted to talk to them about other burglaries at schools and nurseries throughout Lancashire.

Liam Paul Harbour (27), of Rawcliffe Avenue, and Mark John Rhodes (28), of Grassington Place, both in Bolton, were sent in custody to Preston Crown Court.

They are charged with burglary at St Mary’s RC Primary, Langho, and theft of £109; burglary at Brookside County Primary School, Clitheroe, and theft of money and a CCTV hard drive together worth £2,400; burglary at St Edwards RC School, Darwen, and theft of £900; and going equipped for theft.
