Crowds enjoyed the sun and fun when Thistle Manor, Clitheroe, held its first summer fair.
Staff, residents and supporters helped, and there were stalls of all kinds, including ones run by local businesses such as Pendle Stitch and Urban Sheep and charities such as Clitheroe Foodbank and Pendleside Hospice.
Children enjoyed games such as hook a duck, finding the pirate treasure and wetting the staff in the stocks.
Mayor of Clitheroe Coun. Val Cooper attended to lend her support.
The event helped to raise nearly £500, which will be shared with a local charity and used for buying art and craft resources for the next event.
Thistle Manor, in Edisford Road, is a nursing/rehabilitation home working with people with mental health difficulties, aiming to rehabilitate, encourage skills and promote independence.
