There was music, dancing, food and fantastic dresses galore at Ribblesdale High School to celebrate Eid.
As well as the aromatic spicy food and music to get everyone dancing, there was also a selection of sweets and a display of traditional dress worn by the school’s Muslim students who were joined by some of the teachers.
A school spokesman said: “It was a lovely opportunity to share this wonderful festival as the Hajj comes to a close in Mecca and Muslims around the world get together and celebrate.”
Thanks have been expressed to the parents who contributed food to the celebrations which raised £150 and will be donated to Islamic Relief.
