Award winning Lowesmoor project by Clitheroe architects Stanton Andrews

At the recent LABC Building Excellence Awards 2014, Clitheroe-based Stanton Andrews Architects won three awards.

The company was the winner in the category for the best change of use of an existing building or conversion with Moor Barn, Knowle Green, an ambitious project carried out with Frank Ireland Building Contractors, of Waddington.

Stanton Andrews was also highly commended in the best extension or alteration to an existing home category with Lowes Moor, Chapeltown, and a finalist in the best extension or alteration to an existing home category with Little Birks Farm.

The firm has also recently completed the refurbishment of the Olive Press restaurant in Winkley Square, Preston, for Paul Heathcote.

Stanton Andrews Architects, based in York Street, Clitheroe, was formed in 2006 with two directors, Neil 
Andrews and Charles Stanton. Currently the practice has four architects and is working on high-end residential projects as well as hotels, restaurants, theatres and, most recently, a boat house. A satellite office was created in Lytham to service a growing list of West Lancashire clients.
