A CARE service in Clitheroe will celebrate its 10 year anniversary this week.
Domiciliary Care Services, which has been offering care and support for adult residents in the Ribble Valley for the past 10 years, will stage a coffee and cake morning celebration at its base at 5-7 Waddington Road, Clitheroe, on Wednesday, March 14th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The company’s service users and their families are invited to help celebrate Domiciliary Care Services’ success, as are members of the local community, who are welcome to come along to find out more about the company and the services it provides.
The family run private company aims to provide high quality individual tailored care packages, ensuring that every aspect of care is met.
Rated “3* excellent” by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the company offers support to those with dementia, learning disabilities, mental health problems, older people, the physically disabled, sensory impaired, substance misuse and younger adults aged 18-plus.
Some of the services it provides include all aspects of personal care, a cleaning and laundry service, shopping and pension collection, assistance with personal budgets and social visits, just to name a few.
All the company’s staff are Clitheroe based and fully CRB checked with a minimum NVQ Level Two in Health and Social Care or are currently studying for this qualification.
