Every little helps as Tesco shoppers were encouraged to support staff to climb 90,000 steps and raise money for Diabetes UK.
Customers at the Clitheroe store were urged to step up to the challenge today (Friday) and walk as many steps to help raise funds for the charity, which is Tesco’s national charity partner.
While visiting the store, shoppers were asked to climb onto a stepping machine and help staff reach the 90,000 stepping target. Staff came dressed in sports gear and enjoyed being cheered on by colleagues and customers.
One of the organisers of the challenge, Carolyn Poole, said: “It’s a great day and all the staff and customers are having fun as well as raising money for Diabetes UK.”
