MP Nigel Evans has met with The Federation of Small Business members to hear about the issues most affecting them in the current climate.
Attendees discussed relationships with banks, cashflow and regulations amongst other issues at the meeting held at The Swan and Royal Hotel, Clitheroe.
Clitheroe businessman Craig Morgan, who is also FSB East Lancashire Branch Chairman, said: “We are delighted that Nigel Evans has taken time to meet with local small businesses.
“As a small business owner himself, Nigel is aware of some of the issues faced by entrepreneurs and small businesses, but this meeting presented an opportunity to hear from Ribble Valley businesses on how they see things at present.
“In the current climate it is vital that we look to support entrepreneurs, start-ups and small businesses to allow them to grow and provide the jobs which can help to steer economic recovery.”
