The Northcote Group, which has helped put East Lancashire and Ribble Valley on the map for good dining, is celebrating a bronze award in the VisitEngland 2013 Awards for Excellence, presented at Old Trafford.

Craig Bancroft, Northcote managing director, said “We are absolutely delighted. To be recognised in the top three of Small Hotels in England is a huge achievement and one we are extremely proud of.”

The Northcote Group of Companies, owned by Lynda and Richard Matthewman (chairman), Nigel Haworth and Craig Bancroft (joint managing directors) includes Northcote restaurant at Langho, the conference and banqueting division Northcote at Blackburn Rovers, and Ribble Valley Inns which consists of The Three Fishes, Mitton, The Clog and Billycock, Pleasington, The Bull at Broughton and The Highwayman Inn, Kirkby Lonsdale.
