Handbag and accessories boutique Urban Sheep in Clitheroe opened its doors during the weekend of the Ribble Valley Jazz Festival and donated 10% of sales on its first day to local charity Child Action Northwest.

Owner, Karen Thomas is moving to the town from Colne and swapped the cut and thrust of working with young offenders as a probation officer for the cutting edge of fashion accessories with her new business which also has an online shop.

Her donation of £100 will be used to support Child Action Northwest.

Urban Sheep is situated in the passageway between Castle Street and the Lowergate car park.
