Ribble Valley pubs in Top 50 Gastro Pub Awards

The Freemasons at Wiswell has attained 28th position at the 2014 Top 50 Gastro Pub Awards.

Last year, the Freemasons came 37th, jumping an impressive nine places in just a year.

In fact, the Freemasons gained the highest ranked position in the North West and the third highest from all the north of England and Scotland in the Top 50 Gastro Pub Awards.

Steven said: “I’m thrilled with the result; I always aim to do a little better, year on year – If I achieve that, then that’s the best reward. It’s extremely fulfilling to see the changes I’ve made recognised in this way.”

Also making this years Top 50 Gastro Pub Awards list is The Parkers Arms, Newton-in-Bowland, in at number 48.

Stosie Madi, from the Parkers Arms, said: “Gaining entry into the Top 50 Gastro pubs list is a wonderful start to the New Year and we are over the moon to be flying the flag for the Ribble Valley.”
