Clitheroe Foodbank will in future be known as Ribble Valley Foodbank to reflect that it now has two local centres.

These are at Trinity Church, Clitheroe, which is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 11am to 1-30pm and St Paul’s, Longridge, which is open every Friday, 11am to 1-30pm. Both are manned by volunteers from local churches.

A permanent collection point has been set up by Tesco, which will top up everything collected by 30%.

In the Ribble Valley, 5,600 meals were distributed and 620 people fed between July last year and January 30th.

The foodbank is currently running low on fruit juice, baby hygiene items and tinned peas/carrots.
