The Green Jersey bike shop in Clitheroe gets into the spirit of the Tour de France

The Tour De France begins this weekend and in honour of the Grand Depart being on our own doorstep, Clitheroe bike shop The Green Jersey has temporarily become Le Maillot Vert.

The shop, which is opposite the Lidl store in Clitheroe, will host several licensed evenings throughout the Tour, including the Grand De Part weekend on July 5-6th with each day’s coverage shown on a large screen in store. This is not a ticketed event and visitors can buy a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in addition to barbecue food.

The shop will also celebrate the queen stage and, of course, the final. Limited edition T-shirts, as shown in the shop window are still available and perfect for those planning on cycling over to watch the tour in Yorkshire.

If the Tour has inspired you to take up cycling, or re-kindled your enthusiasm for it, the shop has a great selection of bikes which all come with expert advice and a full bike fitting service with every bike purchased.
