A Horton-in-Craven woman has been named Employee of the Year ahead of 1,400 workers at one of the area’s top organisations.
Bev Petrossian, leadership and learning manager at the Skipton Building Society, received the accolade at the organisation’s glitzy annual conference.
Bev, who has been with the society for two years, won the affection of her colleagues because of the encouragement and motivation she gives to others.
The Employee of the Year Award recognises her achievements as a role model among her peers.
She said: “I feel really special to win this award and I am grateful for all the fantastic and generous comments from people.
“I’m still getting congratulations days after the awards night!
“To be so publicly recognised for doing a job I really enjoy is fantastic. Other people’s obvious delight for me is one of the things that epitomises what makes Skipton a great place to work.”
