WHAT do you get if you team up two excited five-year-old boys with a theme park boasting more than 90 rides and attractions?
Answer: A fun day out to remember!
Fun was definitely on the cards at Gulliver’s World in Warrington which hosted a party to raise money for its charity of the year Dreams Come True, the organisation that helps seriously and terminally ill children. With a host of celebrities, including the Dreams Come True ambassador, Kerry Katona, stars of popular TV shows “Hollyoaks’’ and “Waterloo Road’’ and CBeebies Zingzillas, my partner Tony and myself and our little boy Robbie and his best pal Harry were guests of the park. And with so many rides and attractions we were thoroughly entertained. The park is divided into several sections each with its own theme and array of rides and attractions, from Lilliput Land and Gully Town for the very young to Western World and Smuggler’s Wharf which were a like a magnet for two adventorous young boys.
The Runaway Train ride, The Log Flume and The Crazy Barrel ride were fast moving and exciting and proved to be a hit along with the ever popular dodgems and Giant Spinning Teacups.
The beauty of Gulliver’s World is that while spread out, the site is beautifully landscaped and easy to navigate with lots of different seating areas dotted around for picnics and a quick rest. The boys also loved the assortment of adventure playgrounds and they attempted to have a go on every one!
This is a great day out for the whole family with rides and attractions catering from tiny tots to teens. And new for 2012 is a fully inclusive ticket which is priced at £21 a head which includes the admission price with access to all rides and attractions and shows together with a meal, ice cream, drink and retail voucher.
