Ultraframe is to hold an open day in a recruiting drive to find 30 new employees.

The Clitheroe-based company – the largest manufacturer of conservatory roof systems in the UK – has announced it needs to expand the workforce to more than 250 to meet the needs of the growth in the business.

To find the new recruits, Ultraframe is holding an open day at the company’s manufacturing plant on Salthill Road on Saturday, when candidates can drop in any time between 9 a.m. and noon.

Jobs available include posts within the manufacturing and warehouse teams and sales administration.

Potential recruits will be able to take a tour of the manufacturing facility, meet other team members and take away an application form.

For candidates unable to attend the open day, an application form can be collected from the main reception on Salthill Road.

Sue Holt, Ultraframe human resources manager, said: “Ultraframe is one of the region’s largest employers and we are committed to making sure that where possible we are providing local jobs for local people.

“That has always been the employment philosophy of this business.

“We are very much looking forward to meeting new recruits on Saturday and showcasing the business.”

Ultraframe is the market leader in the manufacture of glass roofs and extension systems, and has successfully designed and fabricated more than half of the UK’s conservatories.

In the last 12 months the company has launched a new roof and glazed extension system that has delivered significant growth, securing jobs and creating new job opportunities.
